The pressure difference of the pre-hydrogenation feed filter is increasing

What does an increasing pressure difference in the pre-hydrogenation feed filter mean? After starting the pump, the material is sent to the filter; how should the filter be put into use at this point? (The filter element inside was previously damaged due to improper handling during installation.)
A large pressure difference indicates that the filter needs to be cleaned!
Isn’t it automatically backwashed now?
The filter element has absorbed too much dirt; it needs to be backwashed!
So, when using the filter for the first time, what precautions should be taken to prevent the filter elements from being compressed and deformed?
The backflow manual valve of the filter should be fully open for drainage; it should be fully closed to prevent pressure buildup that could damage the filter elements
It is estimated that too many impurities from the upstream equipment caused the filter to become clogged. For example, if the upstream unit is a coking plant, it may generate some coke dust
The filter is equipped with a bypass valve; if the filter has just been put into use, should the bypass valve be opened first, followed by the manual valves on the upstream and downstream sides of the filter, with the bypass valve then being gradually closed down
