Since operations started, there has been a high amount of free water in the material at the top of the washing tower; as a result, the circulation rate to this tower has been reduced. The liquid levels in all towers are within normal ranges, with the liquid level in the washing tower at 60%. Yet the water level has not decreased after several days. The system constantly requires water replenishment, as the water in the extraction unit system is carried away by the extracted oil. Seek a solution

There are several reasons for this analysis, which can be checked one by one: 1. The amount of water used for washing or the volume of water in the circulation is too high; calibrate the instruments; 2. The feed volume of non-aromatic compounds at the bottom of the wash tower is excessive, causing water to be carried up to the top of the tower ; 3. The tray is blocked, reducing the area through which water can flow downward. Based on your description, there have been problems since the system was put into operation; it could also be due to design or installation issues.

The wash tower seems to operate with the tower filled; the raffinate oil is removed from the top of the tower. If there is too much water at the top, the upward circulation rate should be increased. Take another look to see if there’s too much water in the extraction system
