How to purge the feed and discharge pipelines from the reactor to the heating furnace? Also, how should the pipeline from the plate heat exchanger outlet to the air cooler be purged? I would appreciate it if experts could provide some guidance
First, it is necessary to understand the purpose of purging. Purging is used to remove debris from inside the pipe. The specific purging plan should be determined based on the layout of the pipes at your site; generally, a location is chosen as the exhaust point, and the outlet must be large enough to allow larger debris such as welding rods and wires to be removed.
Whether it is a shutdown purging or an initial startup purging, they are both different
Initial start-up: Check that the pipeline is clean when it is on the ground surface； Maintenance: Vacuum pumping, nitrogen purging.
