When performing the Gasoline Doctor experiment and adding liquefied sulfur, a brown color appears; after waiting for one minute, it becomes acceptable. I’m not sure what the reason for this is I would like to ask the experts here.
If there is a slight presence of hydrogen sulfide, it can be tried out: take a sample, let it sit for some time before conducting the analysis. If the results are satisfactory, then it indeed contains hydrogen sulfide.
