How do you reduce noise in areas with high levels of noise, such as main fans and steam turbines? Are there any effective methods? The device is making a lot of noise at the moment; I’d like to reduce it. I welcome everyone’s suggestions. Thank you.
Changing the pipeline flow results in corresponding changes to the flow rate and vibration levels. Generally, it consists of pipelines with insulation and sound-absorbing layers
We are using catalytic flue gas turbines, which generate noise levels of over 90 decibels. It’s difficult to make changes to the pipelines, and both the main air inlets and outlets as well as the flue gas inlets and outlets have pressures of 2000 or more. Is it possible to add sound-absorbing material to the framework? I’m just not sure what the effect would be Are there companies that specialize in this kind of noise reduction?
High-frequency noise is simple to deal with, while reducing low-frequency noise is very difficult.
Adding insulation also provides sound absorption, with a noticeable effect.
What’s lacking now is a systematic approach; are there any companies that have worked on this?
Have you heard of the story of covering one’s ears while stealing a bell? Here, when we enter areas with high decibel levels, we’re usually advised to wear earplugs – pretty straightforward, right? ;P
The key issue is the fear that experts will raise concerns; the level of scrutiny imposed on private enterprises these days is also overwhelming.
