There is an existing environmental protection project aimed at treating waste gases containing methyl methacrylate (MMA); the site is located in a tank storage area. The owner requires an explosion protection rating of DⅡBT4. What are the requirements regarding electrical systems, and what are the requirements for their installation? Which standards must be followed? I work in the manufacturing field, and this is really tough for me; I hope fellow netizens can give me some advice
The explosion protection rating should refer to that of the electrical equipment; the minimum explosion protection rating for the electrical equipment purchased and selected must not be lower than DⅡBT4
One more thing: although there are not many electrical instrumentation specialties involved, I still recommend that professionals handle such tasks – even by temporarily hiring or outsourcing them to those specializing in electrical work
