Desulfurization and denitration before LPG separation, or desulfurization in MTBE units
Our process involves desulfurizing liquefied gas, then separating the feed gas; after C4 is separated, it is sent to the MTBE unit. Through reaction and distillation, MTBE and ether are produced from the C4, with the sulfur content in MTBE being around 1, and the sulfur content in the ether-derived C4 being around 20. I would like to ask how the sulfur content in MTBE and the sulfur content in etherified C4 can be adjusted, and what factors influence them? I would appreciate some guidance from the teachers! ! Thank you!
In this process, the sulfur in MTBE is mainly organic sulfur; it is primarily controlled at upstream units rather than in the MTBE unit itself
