For safety reasons, thermoelectric power plants are reluctant to return the condensate generated by users, in order to prevent chemicals from the users from leaking through the equipment and mixing into the boiler water. In this case, how can steam users make full use of condensate?

I came across a project for the recycling of condensate water, but it wasn’t me who worked on it. The general process is as follows: the steam at the beginning has a pressure of 10 MPa; the condensate water produced is then depressurized to produce steam at 6.5 MPa, which is then used ; Then, the condensate produced by 6.5 MPa steam is depressurized to become steam at 1.0 MPa for use. However, the situation varies from company to company; if it is mostly low-pressure steam and there are not many usage points, then replenishing water for the circulation tank is still the better option. There’s one thing that has been bothering me: will the collection of this condensate water in the recirculation tank increase the load on the cooling tower? Has it increased energy consumption again?
