The unit is equipped with an air preheater, and the medium used for preheating is medium-pressure steam in a quantity of over 30 kilograms. The control valve before the steam enters the preheater keeps leaking; although clamps have been used on the flanges, this has not resolved the problem. Does anyone with experience have any suggestions?
It can be completely resolved by using proper pressure-based leak sealing techniques (have a professional company handle it). Simply putting a clamp on it won’t solve the problem with such high pressure.

It basically doesn’t work. Hire a professional company to perform leak sealing under pressure. On-site, measure the outer diameter of the flange as well as the misalignment deviation, and design and manufacture fixtures based on the medium, temperature, and pressure parameters. After the clamping device is installed, inject the sealant (special).

I’ve seen that wrapping valves on medium-pressure pipelines also gives good results; hiring a professional leak-sealing company is too expensive. Are there any other methods?
