Dear experts, to which category of pressure vessels do low-temperature containers fall? What considerations should be taken into account during the design and manufacturing process?
Look at Appendix E of GB 150.3; it explains it very clearly.
For classification, refer to Appendix A of the TSG 21-2016 Regulations on Safety Technical Inspection of Fixed Pressure Vessels. It has little to do with whether it’s a low temperature or not.
