Although it’s a small issue, I’d still like to ask! The specifications for nameplates are currently mostly 80x50, 125x100, 160x120, and 200x125. In the past, solid rivets were used, but they proved to be inconvenient to work with. Nameplate holders for equipment are usually welded to the equipment first; installing the nameplates later proves to be difficult. If core pulling rivets are used, what specifications are generally adopted? Are there any other ways to install the nameplate?
If the nameplate is thick enough, it can be welded directly; I haven’t paid much attention to what kind of rivets are used – GB 826
For nameplates, our company follows the GB/T13306-2011 standard, while the notation used on them is based on GB/T827:):)
For your nameplates, is it the nameplate and the nameplate holder that are assembled first, or is it the nameplate holder and the equipment that are assembled first?
For carbon steel and low-alloy steel equipment, the nameplate holder should be welded first, taking into account that some equipment requires post-welding full-scale stress-relief heat treatment in a furnace. After the equipment has been coated with the primer, the nameplate is installed, using pull rivets, commonly known as extraction rivets. For stainless steel equipment, it should be considered in terms of ease of installation.
In our department, we first weld, then install the equipment, followed by a hydraulic pressure test; finally, the nameplate is riveted on before the product leaves the factory :)

We haven’t used blood-sucking rivets yet. Even the equipment that requires heat treatment is spot-welded last.
It can be looked up in the mechanical design manual; simply select the core-pulling rivet.
