For example, if water is used as the medium, it is the container’s own weight plus the weight of the water; what about air then? What is the purpose of that? The data table can’t be left empty; it must be filled in.
Can it be understood in this way: A container with a filling coefficient has a maximum filling volume, and knowing this maximum filling volume allows one to determine the weight of the medium contained within it, which can then be recorded; Our regular heat exchange products involve flowing media, and it is not possible to determine their weight in actual production; therefore, only the load when the system is completely filled can be taken into account. If this value cannot be determined, it can be left blank. For pressure vessels that we have manufactured ourselves, fill in nothing if you are not aware of it; if it can be filled in, please provide detailed information.
My personal understanding: The gases used for filling (industrial air, nitrogen) are all under pressure, and it should be possible to calculate the weight of a certain volume of gas at that temperature and pressure.
Leave the fields intended for gaseous media empty; in fact, there are many fields in the standard form that do not need to be filled in, and it is best to mark them with a slash.

If it is liquefied gas, then the mass of the liquefied gas should be filled in. I haven’t encountered a container filled entirely with pure gas yet.
Generally, I communicate with the clients and ask them to provide data such as the density of the medium, so that the value can be calculated using the filling factor. However, in some cases, the chemical processing procedures are confidential, and the clients only provide a few necessary pieces of data; in such cases, the calculation is done based on the information provided, or the relevant fields are left blank.
Under working pressure or design pressure conditions, it is sufficient to use the density of the medium multiplied by its volume; for air, the weight can be ignored
