In the JB/T4712.4-2007 standard, why is the allowable vertical load [F] not specified for some oval end caps? For example: Suppose the allowable stress for the material S30408 used in standard elliptical end caps is [σ] = 130 MPa. For DN = 2800 mm and support number 6, the nominal thickness of the lower end cap is 8 mm. When performing calculations based on internal pressure, this nominal thickness meets the strength requirements (including reinforcement due to openings). With C = 1 mm, the effective thickness is 7 mm. Using interpolation methods, no allowable vertical load value can be determined for an end cap with a thickness of 6 mm. How should this be handled? Is it possible to only increase the thickness of the head by 10 mm? If so, I believe it might not be cost-effective for bulk equipment or storage tanks Is there a better way to calculate it or a better solution? Thank you!
The new standards differ greatly from the old ones. Has everyone taken a look? For example, regarding the load capacity of the support body: was it several units working together before, or is it now a single unit? Also, for the allowable vertical load on the rear end cap, after removing 4 mm, all the other values have become very large as well.
Which support is combined with several others? It seems to me that they are individual ones
