I would like to ask: For the atmospheric pressure tank used for storing crude oil, which is equipped with a self-standing pressure control valve at its upper end and uses a centrifugal pump to transfer the oil inside the tank, why does the tank get collapsed? How to prevent such accidents from occurring
It must be that when the pressure control valve above is not connected to the atmosphere, a vacuum is created inside the tank; since the tank’s stiffness is not sufficient to support it, it collapses!
What is the diameter of the jar? How tall is it? Has the pressure-controlled valve failed? If it’s not a failure of the pressure-controlled valve, then the design pressure for the tank should be set at the pressure at which the pressure-controlled valve operates, or at full vacuum.

The valve has insufficient flow capacity or is blocked; The flow rate drawn is too high
The valve is probably broken. As far as I know, neither the maintenance staff nor those responsible for routine inspections pay attention to this valve; yet this valve is exposed to the air all year round, and its filters often get clogged.
It could be due to a fault in the pressure-controlled valve or a problem with the flame arrester of the tank’s vent valve, as a result of inadequate routine inspections and maintenance
