Each thermocouple is associated with a recorder and a temperature controller. At least one thermocouple is required per weld joint to monitor the temperature. One heat treatment process cannot eliminate all 20 weld joints formed on-site at the same time.

Given the specifications of your tubes, the required power is not high; a heating strip with a power of 5 KW and a length of 1 meter can handle at least 3-4 processes. Seven heating strips, along with 3 sets of three-phase heating cables, will be sufficient! 2. In my opinion, it’s sufficient as long as it is representative; the key is that the heat treatment equipment has undergone temperature uniformity tests, so it doesn’t matter if more sensors are installed – it’s just an additional number of testing points. 3.
