Statistics: How many people are engaged in analytical design or want to learn it?

Conventional design is very common, while analytical design remains niche – how many people want to learn it or are working in the field of analytical design?
Learning this subject does present certain difficulties, and the assessments are also quite strict.
It seems there are many people who want to learn *; I have a lot of materials available
I have a lot of materials and have been working on analysis and design
The most important aspects of analytical design are theoretical foundations such as elastoplasticity and plate-shell theory; software is secondary
It makes sense. Knowing only software skills without theoretical knowledge means not knowing whether what one is doing is correct; on the other hand, knowing only theory without practical software skills is nothing but empty talk
I’m also learning, but only at the beginner level; I don’t know where to go once I move to more advanced topics. There are really very few books on pressure vessels.
Just thinking about it is enough; one must not actually do it.
