The designed pressure for this device is 0.3 MPa. The manufacturer said that no reinforcement is necessary, but I believe that reinforcement is required when the opening size exceeds 89. Please help me calculate whether reinforcement is indeed needed. Thank you!
Whether a reinforcement ring is needed is determined through calculations for reinforcement due to openings; if no such calculations are required, then no reinforcement ring is necessary. By 89 and above, you mean that reinforcement calculations due to openings are needed, not that a reinforcement ring is required.
You don’t even know the basic principles; you’re just giving arbitrary instructions based on hearsay. For openings smaller than 89, reinforcement calculations are not required provided that they meet the conditions specified in GB/T150.3-2011. If those conditions aren’t met, reinforcement calculations are still necessary. Whether reinforcement rings are needed for an equipment opening depends not on the size of the opening itself, but rather on whether there is sufficient excess area in the shell or the connectors to provide reinforcement; if there’s enough, no reinforcement rings are needed, while reinforcement rings are required if the area is insufficient.

What is the wall thickness of the cylinder and the manhole connections? 0.3 isn’t considered thick; it’s fine even if that thickness isn’t used
If the pressure is not high, it’s not necessary; high-pressure equipment requires reinforcing rings
