The book \"Safe Operation and Management of Special Valves\" covers the basic theories and knowledge related to the safe operation and management of special valves used in catalytic cracking units, such as single and double-acting slide valves, plug valves, high-temperature butterfly valves, and high-temperature gate valves. It includes information on the principles and structural characteristics of these valves, as well as their operation and maintenance, HSE management, fault analysis, and troubleshooting. The book is highly practical and easy to apply; it is particularly useful for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving faults on-site.
