What is the minimum specified length for containers?

Hey everyone, have you come across a situation where a container uses Type B equipment flanges? If such Type B flanges are removed and replaced with separate components, it’s equivalent to having a cylinder section along with flanges. However, according to the standards, the length of each cylinder section is generally required to be less than 300 mm. As specified in clause 6.5.5c of GB/T150.4-2011, each cylinder section must be at least 300 mm long when assembled. But what should be done in the case of welding Type B flanges to the cylinder? Is it necessary to lengthen the cylinder section? Please give me some advice{:3_67:}
The length of the tube section for Type B flanges is not restricted by the minimum length of the spliced shell specified in GB/T150.4.

The same situation occurs in manholes; it’s easier to understand if the flange and the barrel section are considered as a single component.
