These past two days, I’ve discovered that there are several types of electric heaters used in industry. I would like to ask what the operating conditions for such electric heaters are What is the scope of application? How does energy consumption compare to that of heat transfer oil?
I. Heat treatment: local or full quenching, annealing, tempering, and heat treatment of various metals； II. Hot Forming: Full forging, partial forging, hot heading, hot rolling ； III. Welding: Brazing of various metal products, welding of various cutting tools and blade edges as well as saw teeth, welding of steel pipes and copper pipes, welding of metals of the same or different types ； IV. Metal melting: (Vacuum) melting, casting, and evaporation coating of metals such as gold, silver, copper, iron, aluminum, etc ； V. Other applications of high-frequency heaters: semiconductor single crystal growth, thermal fitting, heat sealing of bottle mouths, heat sealing of toothpaste tubes, powder coating, and embedding metals in plastics.
