Seeking assistance with the selection of graphite heat exchangers and the calculation of heat exchange area for a new project

The company has a new Chinese-style project involving batch reactions in reactors; each reactor contains 3 tons of water and 2 tons of benzyl chloride (monochlorotoluene), which react at a temperature of 120 degrees Celsius. During the reaction, water evaporates, and part of the benzyl chloride as well (with a boiling point of 179 degrees Celsius) will also vaporize. It is necessary to cool this vapor using a heat exchanger before returning it to the reactor, with the cooling water having a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a pressure of 0.5 MPa. Since benzyl chloride is subject to both chloride ion corrosion and the good solvating properties of benzene derivatives, I consulted the process team earlier, and they recommended using a graphite heat exchanger (one that has not been used before). 1. Could you help calculate the heat exchange area of the heat exchanger?2. Which type is more suitable for these operating conditions – tubular type (with water flowing in the shell side and the fluid to be heated flowing in the tube side) or plug-and-port type – and which one has a lower cost?
