For a double-effect vacuum distillation concentrator, is it better to have the vacuum in the condenser on the tube side or on the shell side? ? Why? ?
It depends on the properties of the material. For normal materials, there is no risk of blockage; they flow through the shell side, in a horizontal condenser! Crystallization is possible; it can be installed in a tubular format, along the tube path, in a vertical position. For reference only.
