Is it okay to perform hot work on a concentrated sulfuric acid tank?
Personal opinion: It’s acceptable, but it is still recommended. It may be acceptable because it is non-flammable; however, it is not recommended because in environments prone to stress corrosion, stress-relief heat treatment of the area where welding takes place is necessary, and it would be better if this could be done overall. Also, it’s unclear what your original intention was in asking this question
