An enterprise production logistics sorting line refers to the logistics activities that occur within an enterprise’s production process. It involves the movement of raw materials, components, semi-finished products, and other materials between the supply warehouses within the factory, as well as between different workshops, between various stages of production, and from workshops to the finished goods warehouse – all in accordance with the layout of the factory, the product production process, and the relevant technical requirements. Therefore, the production logistics of enterprises in the logistics sorting line sector is a crucial aspect of corporate logistics, and optimizing such production logistics helps to enhance a company’s competitiveness. The production logistics sorting line is a very important part of a company’s production process. The process generally involves raw materials or semi-finished products starting at the “entrance” of the company, entering the beginning of the production line. From there, they move forward through various stages of production, with the help of certain transportation devices, from one station to another, within each workshop. Throughout this process, the processing is carried out step by step, until the entire process is completed, after which the products are sent to the storage area or to the end-users. From the perspective of the JIT production model, the production logistics sorting line requires that production factors be closely arranged spatially and connected appropriately in terms of timing, in order to reduce the amount of logistics handling, minimize damage to the workpieces, save costs, monitor product quality in real time, oversee the entire production process, and ensure smooth logistics flow throughout the production area. Analyzing the above production conditions, the following defects exist: 1) After a batch of parts is processed on the logistics sorting line, a large number of workers and baskets are required to transfer the parts for further processing; during the part processing stage, most workers remain idle, resulting in significant waste of labor; 2) Excessive inventory occurs during the production process on the logistics sorting line, **which prolongs the time during which the parts are not being processed; 3) The logistics sorting line does not facilitate even distribution of equipment load; 4) It occupies too much space in the production area, leading to poor logistics flow within the workshop and severely affecting production efficiency; 5) The connection between workshops using the logistics sorting line is inadequate; 6) Different product types can get mixed up on this system, affecting production and even harming customer interests and the company’s reputation; 7) It is difficult to control the timing of the entire production process using this system, which increases inventory levels for the company; 8) Monitoring production on the logistics sorting line is challenging, which can lead to production chaos.
