The regulations require that an exhaust valve be installed at the highest point of the LPG liquid pipeline, and a safety valve must be placed between these two valves. Is it acceptable to install only a safety valve on the LPG liquid pipeline, without installing an exhaust valve as well?
What should I do if the pressure is high? The safety valve operates when the pressure exceeds its set value!
I don’t think so; the exhaust valve at the highest point of the liquid-phase pipe is mainly there to prevent gas accumulation from affecting pipeline transportation, right? By replacing it with a safety valve, one can only wait for the pressure to build up enough to trigger the safety valve; moreover, it’s not certain that all the pressure will be released at once.
