I can guarantee the cross-sectional area of the hole, but the shape of the hole is not necessarily circular.
Agree with #3: A small cutting tool will suffice. Yours is only 0.5 thick, which is more than enough. If you can’t find such a tool, laser cutting is also an option; however, if the quantity is small, they might be unwilling to take on the task. Good luck to you
