Today, in China, due to the assembly-line production methods used by small, medium, and large enterprises, as these companies increase their investment in boosting productivity, they also face the need for food conveyors that are suitable for use in various manufacturing and transportation processes. This implies higher requirements regarding the design and development of such conveyors, as well as concerning their materials and performance stability. With the continuous innovation and development of production technologies in our country, food manufacturing enterprises widely use food conveyors in their production processes in order to save production time and improve efficiency. As a key component of food conveyors, the drive roller plays an important role in these systems. To ensure the safety of the workers involved in the production process as well as the safety of the conveying equipment, it is necessary for workers to follow the established operating procedures strictly. First, while the drive roller conveyor is in use during production processes, workers must not stick their hands or feet between the rollers, as this could lead to serious accidents or even put their own lives at risk ； Secondly, before the operators prepare to transport food materials, they should first check whether the drive roller conveyor’s rollers are bent or deformed, and whether the tracks on which the rollers are mounted are also bent or deformed. They should also check whether the screws at the joints between the conveyor’s rollers, tracks, and other components are loose. If any of these issues are detected, the conveyor should be stopped immediately and adjusted accordingly ； Third, during the production and conveying process using power roller conveyors, operators must not place tools or miscellaneous items on the conveyor rollers ； Fourth, when preparing to start the powered roller conveyor, check whether the rotating drum of the powered roller moves smoothly and whether there are any unusually loud noises ； Fifth, when the production operators start up the power-driven roller conveyor equipment, they must check whether the food materials being conveyed and the tooling plates are functioning properly on the production line. Sixth, production operators should place the materials being produced and transported gently in the middle of the powered roller conveyor, to avoid severe impacts that could occur if the materials deviate from the rollers and thus damage them ； Finally, those who are about to start working on the production line of powered roller conveyors must first complete safety training specific to food processing industries and pass the relevant tests before they can begin working on the production line.
