1. If it is necessary to interrupt the operation of a vacuum oil filter that is currently in use, the heating power supply should be disconnected first; only after 5 minutes should the operation of the oil inlet and outlet pumps be stopped, in order to prevent the oil in certain areas of the system from decomposing due to heat and generating hydrocarbon gases. 2. After working in an outdoor low-temperature environment, it is necessary to drain all the water remaining in the vacuum pump, as well as in the condenser and cooling tank, to prevent freezing at low temperatures from damaging the equipment. 3. When the oil filter is not in use, the dirty oil inside the vacuum pump should be drained and replaced with new oil. 4. The condenser and heater of the vacuum oil filter should be inspected regularly. The dirt accumulated inside the heat dissipation tubes of the condenser can be blown away using compressed air, to prevent a decline in heat exchange efficiency; if carbon buildup is found on the surface of the heating elements of the electric heater, the cause should be identified and eliminated in order to improve the heater’s heating efficiency.
