Medium operating conditions: 1. 31% hydrochloric acid, containing a small amount of solid particles (2-5%), with particle sizes ranging from 120 to 160 mesh. 2. Batch production, with temperature fluctuations; 10 hours at a high temperature of 105°C, 2 hours at normal temperature, involving cycles of high temperature, normal temperature, and low temperature. Which type of pipeline should be used? Is a glass-lined steel pipeline or a PTFE-lined steel pipeline better? ?
Choose one with PTFE lining. Fiberglass-reinforced plastic does not have good heat resistance; it is generally used below 100°C, so it’s best not to use it in environments with high temperatures.
It uses the same material as the reaction kettle; ideally, using internally lined epoxy-coated pipes would be better, as they are more wear-resistant
The temperature cycling issue you mentioned isn’t a big problem
Steel-lined PTFE. Depending on the pressure conditions, three processes are available: tight lining-------molding---------vacuum resistance.

For the situation described by the poster, lining materials such as glass-lined steel or PTFE can be used; it’s not clear what the flow rate is, but there are no issues with temperature. Regarding particulate matter, if the flow rate is too high, it can cause impacts on the enamel, resulting in scratches or roughness that affect its service life; there is also a risk of the enamel being damaged as a result of these impacts. Perfluorine is a bit better. But the temperature should be changed slowly when shifting between high and low levels. I’m not sure how the original poster controls the temperature changes – through natural cooling, some other method, or via a jacket? We can communicate more!

What are solid particles? I’ve been informed about the devices used for treating hydrochloric acid (31% hydrochloric acid containing sulfates). The steel-lined PTFE material used for pipes works quite well. Once the drawings are ready, they can be given directly to the manufacturer; it’s also a good idea to have extra spare parts in stock for elbows and reducers.
