What are the current methods for cathodic protection of pipelines? What is the general process for design? Are there any similar experience shares?
Generally, it is the sacrificial anode method or the forced current method. In either case, it is first necessary to understand the pipeline information and the on-site conditions, assess the required protection current density, and conduct feeding tests on site if possible.
