I want to create a glass-lined equipment for use with media containing phosphorus and chloride ions, at operating temperatures of 80–150 degrees. I’m not sure which of the three materials, Q235B, Q245R, and Q345R, would be better. Watch with the guidance of friends.

Q235B is widely used in fast-cooling processes in China. If the material you provided, which contains phosphorus ions and high-temperature chloride ions, is manufactured using a fast-cooling process, its service life will not be long; it is best to conduct corrosion resistance tests before using it.
So what is the difference between Q345R and Q245R?

Q345R is a common low-alloy steel, widely used in boilers and pressure vessels. Its delivery conditions are hot-rolled or normalized, and it belongs to the category of low-alloy steels. Its properties are similar to those of Q345(16Mn) – the yield strength of 16mm steel plates of this grade is greater than 345 Mpa. Its tensile strength ranges from 510 to 640 Mpa, the elongation rate is greater than 21%, and the V-notch impact energy at 0 degrees is greater than 34 J. The process reference standard for Q345R is GB713-2008. Features of Q345R Q345R steel is a special plate for pressure vessels with a yield strength of 340 MPa; it possesses excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and processability. Q245R is commonly used. In the past, Q235 was also used, but Q345R has the highest strength; its cost is higher than that of the previous two grades, and the equipment made from it is relatively more durable.
