Selection of paint for the exterior of high-temperature exhaust pipes

I would like to ask everyone: The diesel engine exhaust pipes in our facility were previously coated with silver powder paint by the construction team. I’m not sure whether this paint is resistant to high temperatures; anyway, the paint peeled off after the machines had been in use for a short time, and it looked very unsightly. Our supervisor has requested that something be done about it. What should be done to treat the outer surface of such exhaust pipes exposed to high temperatures? Is there any silver powder paint that is resistant to high temperatures and won’t peel off? Or should we simply cover them with an insulating layer? Thank you all
For convenience, it can be wrapped in an insulating bag. High-temperature paint can also be used; you can search for it – there are many options available.
How many temperatures? We use silver powder paint; both those from Jordan and Aksu offer this product.
It’s the exhaust pipe of the diesel engine; it hasn’t been measured yet, but it should be around 500-600 degrees
For silver powder paint, we usually apply it in two coats; this temperature is suitable for use.
