Our company needs to purchase 2 measuring tanks for 98% concentrated sulfuric acid. The capacity of these tanks is not large; they were originally made of glass, but we are concerned that this might not be safe. What material would be a better choice nowadays? It is a pharmaceutical company
Non-metallic materials can be used, such as polytetrafluoroethylene plastic.
Enameled or stainless steel lined with PTFE
Carbon steel tanks should be sufficient to meet the requirements, but the temperature needs to be kept below 50 degrees Celsius
