Speaking of our company’s standard practices, for newly added steam pipes and similar components, we first conduct leak and pressure tests to check for any issues such as defects in the welds or air leaks. Additionally, the pressure test helps to remove any residues from the welds inside the pipes; only after ensuring there are no problems do we proceed with insulation work. The losses you mentioned are inevitable; it’s essential to ensure proper insulation, and the condensate water in the pipes must be removed. Steam traps should be installed according to the diameter of the steam pipes – for larger diameters, U-shaped tubes need to be used when installing the pipes, with steam traps placed below these U-shaped tubes.

It is necessary to submit an installation notification to the Quality Supervision Bureau. During installation, supervision by the relevant department of the Special Equipment Inspection Institute is required. After installation, hydraulic and pneumatic tests as well as flaw detection inspections are conducted, and a supervision report is issued by the relevant department of the Special Equipment Inspection Institute. Finally, the pressure pipeline must be registered with the Quality Supervision Bureau. Under no circumstances should you be careless, otherwise the process of obtaining subsequent production licenses will be very troublesome.
