Before flue gas desulfurization in a thermal power plant, a cyclone separator is used to remove dust first; how should the composition of that dust be determined, and how should the cyclone separator be configured?
Is there no electrostatic dust removal or bag filter dust removal? Since it’s all going into the desulfurization tower, is the cyclone still useful?
In terms of cyclones, the composition has little impact; you just need to get the particle size distribution right
