For a medium with the same flow rate, to maintain the outlet pressure, if the density of the medium decreases, should the work required by the compressor increase or decrease?
Personally, I think it gets smaller. Of course, it is the gas that is compressed, and it also depends on the degree to which the medium can be liquefied. There seems to be too much interference; a specific analysis is needed. If it’s a liquid, there’s no need to think about it – it will definitely shrink.
