Do ground-mounted vertical gasoline storage tanks that are at atmospheric pressure require a pressure gauge? Do the thermometers of above-ground vertical gasoline storage tanks need to have both on-site and remote monitoring? And cannot share a device port? Do level gauges for above-ground vertical gasoline storage tanks need to have both on-site and remote monitoring capabilities? And cannot share a device port? I checked the petroleum storage facility specifications, and these issues are not mentioned there; I hope someone can provide some evidence.
Refer to the \"Design Code for Tank Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems\" SHT3007-2007
The thermometer has separate pipe connections for the local and remote versions; remember that the level gauge can share the same set of pipe connections for both the local and remote setups. Just install a pressure gauge; it doesn’t cost much.
If the tank farm constitutes a major hazard source, reference can be made to AQ 3036-2010 regarding the installation of automatic control instruments in tank farms.
It was usually not provided in the past. However, if the tank farm constitutes a major hazard source, it must be equipped in accordance with the requirements of AQ 3036-2010 regarding the automatic control instruments for tank farms. Additionally, some storage tanks are equipped with spray cooling water, along with thermometers to facilitate the control of the water supply valves for spraying.
