I haven’t seen it; it’s probably designed based on the flow rate of our normal pipelines!
We thought the same way before, but after contacting a process package supplier recently, we feel that our previous assumptions might be incorrect. We’re looking to see if there are any domestic or international standards that can serve as a reference
What did that process package supplier say that made you think your previous idea was wrong? Could you share it?
I used to think that having the same diameter would be sufficient, but the xx process package stated that there are requirements regarding the flow velocity at the nozzle
No wonder diameter reducers are used when connecting pipes to the nozzles of some equipment. When I first started working on pipe installation, I always thought it was a pointless task; if the diameter is specified by the manufacturing process and matches the size of the equipment’s nozzle, then why is a reducer needed? . . :lol

This estimation isn’t easy; I have few standard references to consult. The factors that can affect flow rate include noise, vibration, and corrosion wear. I would need someone with expert knowledge in process engineering to answer this question – I’m really curious too~:lol
