While browsing job listings, I saw a vacancy for a SAR control system engineer, so I’m wondering if anyone is familiar with it; and what is a MOC project? Job description (Sinopec Shanghai): Main responsibilities  Work closely with process engineers to optimize the operation of control systems and their maintenance, promptly assist in addressing various issues related to the processing processes, and ensure the safe, stable, and efficient operation of production facilities.  Ensure that the processes for preventive and corrective maintenance of the software and hardware of the DCS/SIS/F&G/PLC control systems in the production facilities under management are carried out, so as to reduce the failure rate of these control systems over time.  Participate in the root-cause analysis of hardware and software failures in all control systems of the production units under supervision, and ensure that relevant action items are followed up.  Responsible for maintaining the control systems, application systems, and information systems of the production units under supervision, including system configuration, optimization of control circuits, fault handling, configuration changes, user support, performance monitoring, and recording.  Be familiar with the control and interlock schemes of the production units under supervision to provide optimal support for production.  Strictly follow technical work procedures and business processes ； Carefully carry out inspections of the control system to ensure that daily maintenance is carried out flawlessly.  Responsible for implementing MOC projects related to the control system.  Be familiar with the process control procedures of the production units under one’s responsibility, and identify KPI indicators that ensure control performance in line with Sinopec’s control strategies.  Promptly update and refine the relevant materials related to the Integrated Management System (IMS) implementation, so that the daily maintenance procedures and business processes meet the standard requirements.  Perform duty duties and address issues that arise during the shift promptly.
