Under these conditions, what is the best way to measure the flow rate? Should a flow meter be installed at the outlet of the pump, along with an auxiliary accumulator, or would it be better to install it at the inlet? I personally prefer installing it at the outlet, as this allows for the use of a multi-plunger pump to reduce some of the pulsations, and the longer pipeline length can also help to mitigate these pulsations. Additionally, using an accumulator should help to keep the flow rate pulses within a certain range. Are there any other good methods? I’d appreciate some advice

No. The buffer time designed for the storage tank is 4 hours; based on this, fluctuations in the feed rate could be too large. Moreover, since the feeding is continuous, it is difficult to measure such fluctuations

We opted for plunger-type metering pumps, such as the J1.6-12.5 series of plunger-type metering pumps. In addition, we used mass flow meters, taking the average value over a certain time period as the actual flow rate; practical production tests have shown that the accuracy is acceptable
