Safety valves allow for a certain percentage of overpressure; different usage scenarios for safety valves correspond to different allowable percentages of overpressure, but all of these percentages are within specified limits. For example, 10% for non-fire applications; to illustrate, what impact do choosing 5% and 10% have on the structure and cost of safety valves?
The allowable overpressure varies, and this has an impact on the calculation of the safety valve’s throat diameter; the greater the overpressure, the smaller the calculated throat diameter. Of course, this does not necessarily affect the final selection of the safety valve.

Thank you. Allowing a high percentage of overpressure does not necessarily equal a safety factor. As long as it is within the scope specified by the regulations, it does not mean it is wrong. Then there can be no talk of responsibility. What impact does it have on costs?
