The flare system consists of two units, with designed maximum discharge capacities of 120 t/h and 60 t/h respectively. One unit is primarily used to handle hexane and liquefied petroleum gas (C4) waste gases, while the other handles butadiene, ammonia, and a small amount of hydrogen; the main air pollutants involved are CO2, NOx, and CO. There is a blind flange used for isolation via a connecting line between the two sets of torches; could the experts integrate the other set into the first set so that it can burn as well?
Can the first set of flares be taken out of use and combined with another set of flares for burning?
No, the ammonia flare needs to be installed separately. The connection line between the two sets of torches must be a result of a design error.

They cannot be used together, as different torch nozzles burn different materials, and different materials generate different amounts of heat. Thermal radiation is different.
