Are there any national standard documents specifying the temperature requirements for benzene storage tanks? Some people say it should be 30 degrees, but I’ve tried hard to find this specific specification without success
SH3007-2014 Code for Design of Tank Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems specifies that the storage temperature for benzene should be between 7 and 40 degrees Celsius
The appendix of HG/T 20698-2000, Design Specifications for Chemical Industry Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, lists the storage temperatures for many chemical substances. Additionally, Appendix B3.10 of GB15603, the General Rules for the Storage of Commonly Used Chemical Hazards, also specifies that the storage temperature should be below 30 degrees
