There must be blueprints and calculation documents, prepared by a qualified entity, to ensure that the calculations are correct. To achieve the same pressure, its thickness is greater than that of the ellipse
The pressure resistance of flat ends is not as good as that of elliptical ends; it’s better to use ends for pressure vessels
For small diameters, a flat shape can be used; just make the wall thickness at the ends a bit thicker – as long as the calculations are satisfied
It can be flat; there’s no requirement for that. It’s just that different shapes have different pressure resistance – for example, a spherical shape is the best, while a flat shape is definitely the worst
