For the horizontal tank used to store concentrated sulfuric acid, there is another tank for storing nitric acid. The material is fed in using a pump truck; a ball valve is already installed at the feeding point. So, is it necessary to install another ball valve at the feeding port of the horizontal tank? Port B is the feeding port – should a ball valve be installed above Port B?
It is recommended to install one more unit for future maintenance of the pipeline between the feed valve and B
It is recommended to install it; there will be unexpected benefits, and you can never predict what problems might arise later on. During the installation in my workshop, I wasn’t on site to oversee it due to other projects, and as a result many valves were missing; the commissioning process was extremely troublesome.
