Question: Are there any relevant regulatory requirements stating that steam boilers should be placed in a separate room from the auxiliary soft water system and pumps, or that heat transfer oil boilers should be located in a separate room from the heat transfer oil storage tanks and circulation pumps?
The design specifications aren’t very clear, but in practice, I’ve seen them arranged separately; I haven’t delved too deeply into why... Based on my own judgment, it’s probably for safety reasons.
Aren’t boilers all outdoors?
