With a winning bid price of 42.37 million yuan, Sinopec Jianghan Petroleum Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. successfully won this major survey and design project in the southwest region! On April 26, Jianghan Design Company, which is part of the Petroleum Engineering Construction Company, successfully won the bid for the survey and design work related to the Jiangjin-Nanchuan natural gas pipeline project, with a bid price of 42.37 million yuan, demonstrating the company’s strength in the field of survey and design. It is reported that the Jiangjin-Nanchuan natural gas pipeline project is an important infrastructure project in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, and it constitutes a vital part of the livelihood-related initiatives aimed at implementing the **\"Western Development\" strategy. The gas pipeline project is approximately 140.5 kilometers in length. The designed pressure of the pipeline is 10 megapascals, with a diameter of 1,016 millimeters. Its designed gas transmission capacity is 4.8 billion cubic meters per year. Two new gas handling stations and 9 monitoring and distribution valve rooms will be constructed. This project is in line with **storage and transportation facility development policies as well as energy policies; it meets the needs arising from the reform of the operation mechanisms for oil and gas pipelines. Once completed, it will enhance the safety and reliability of Chongqing’s natural gas supply system, accelerate the development of the natural gas ’production, supply, storage, and sales’ infrastructure in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, and provide strong support for the economic development of this region as well as the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
