Which media are included under the category of corrosive media in the definition of pressure pipelines? Do concentrated sulfuric acid, liquid alkali, and hydrochloric acid fall under this category? Do they need to be classified as pressure pipelines? There are also many corrosive substances in wastewater treatment, such as ferric chloride and hypochlorous acid – do these need to be classified as pressure pipelines?
It is specified in the appendix of TSG_D0001-2009 Code for Safety Inspection of Pressure Piping – Industrial Piping.
