Watching a clip from the TV drama, Professor Yu Min, played by Lei Jiayin in \"Merits\", explains in the drama the principle of uranium enrichment – uranium hexafluoride is used in multi-stage centrifuges to separate and concentrate it, thereby obtaining uranium suitable for atomic bombs. The principle behind this isn’t complicated, and there are also some patents related to concentrated carbon-13. Can centrifuges and isotope separation be carried out by individuals? After all, the chip industry does use certain isotopes. Regarding isotopes, I only saw that the Nuclear Export Control List mentions restrictions on the export of centrifuges and their components. Is it allowed for domestic use? Only for use in the chip manufacturing industry, not for anything related to nuclear weapons?
