I would like to ask whether condensers are required for storage tanks holding flammable liquids or volatile liquids in a tank farm Less than 100 m3
According to Article 12.1.4, Paragraph 3 of GB 50074-2014, mobile foam fire extinguishing systems may be used for above-ground horizontal storage tanks, vertical oil tanks covered with soil, vertical storage tanks for Class B liquids, and above-ground storage tanks with a capacity of not more than 200 m3. Paragraph 2 of Article 12.1.5 stipulates that for above-ground vertical storage tanks with a capacity of less than 3000 m3 or a tank wall height of less than 15 m, as well as other storage tanks, a mobile fire cooling water system may be installed. Therefore, your 20m3 above-ground horizontal storage tank at normal pressure can be equipped with a mobile foam fire extinguishing system and a mobile fire cooling water system. If you do not want to use mobile systems, then fixed systems must be installed; it is not possible to omit them.
Sorry, my question is whether a condenser is required on the storage tank
What is the purpose of installing a condenser in a storage tank? :o
Is there no condenser in the exhaust emission system?
There is no mandatory requirement for this; it depends on your emission requirements
It depends on the degree of solvent evaporation from your exhaust gases. At the installation site, I’ve seen units equipped with condensers as well as those without them – it depends on the situation
Most of the API factories in Zhejiang have added it, of course on the condition that the materials stored are volatile. Generally, a heat exchanger with a capacity of 2 to 5 square meters is added, and chilled water is passed through it.
Adding it can reduce the load on downstream treatment facilities. It depends on the actual situation
